This worked for me, charge light instantly went orange. The MagSafe light is off, no charging status shows. You can convert a "T" or "L" style MagSafe adapter for use with a MagSafe 2 equipped computer using the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 adapter. My port adapter lights up green for about 2-3 seconds after leaving out of computer for 5 minutes or so- then quickly goes off. A simple reboot could reset the hardware controlling MacBook charge and could fix the problem of your battery not charging. Mac Wont Charge Lewis Wow.
