I solved my driver problem there, there list has driver solutions for a lot of wireless devices. So Linux was a choice because I want to put to mjor emulations under it that I have stored on my NAS that would be moved to the new laptop... I don't have the Broadcomm model number at the moment. I tried to create the wireless connection using mate-network-admin (Networking app from the Menu; Administration). have a peek here
