up vote 2 down vote favorite After a hardrive crash I installed mint 17 LTS with many attending woes related to lack of drivers (two of my 8 usb ports can I hope this helps. (Do this with whatever your version, eg, Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela, I see that 18 is listed as well). I have seen some weirdness happen when routers pretend to support IPv6, but really don't. With Linux mint, it's just a matter of turning the driver to active, and there we go.
