Don't buy/use a cleaning disk if you have a slot loading laptop... I gave the whole unit a good spraying with the compressed air, and inside the DVD/CD drive. We have other arrangements with Blue Raven that don't involve Apple, and let's just say that they are not exactly what you'd call a well run company. Show this post schtelI can't see why not. I ejected the disc, and now I can insert and play any disc I want. The software completed copying the movie and ejected the DVD and asked that I insert a blank DVD into the drive to continue with the copy. My CD's too get ejected and don't write correctly or don't write at all.

I am running Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 I've clicked on the Apple and the "more info" box is shaded and won't let me click on it!

If the drive is damaged (and not under warranty) the cost of replacement will be determined mostly by the computer model.
