If you’re using Office 2010 or later, you can safely uninstall this add-in. This program will get rid of a lot of other non-essential files and could improve the responsiveness of your system. Thank you for any guidance you can provide. Change or retype the actual part, if the save loop starts again. What did work was removing the trial version of Office that came with the laptop.

Removed the track changes on each document, pasted them into one document and I was able to save after this. In Office 2016 on Windows 10, open an Office app, and click File > Feedback. The Save/Close option should now be within view. I tried to detect/repair.
