If the converter is supplying 12 volts to the breaker panel and the breakers test positive for voltage, this leaves the wiring or the particular appliance at fault. I then checked the voltage coming out of the appliance circuit breakers and they also had 117 volts, but no voltage at any of the plugs or appliances. There is a switch that is supposed to fall down when you open the camper but doesn't and this is what your overhead lights will work off of. we checked the fuses all are good. Cleaned and checked all battery connections twice, made new ground connection to frame. The batteries are maintained by the float charge in the charger and we've never had an issue. Any and all suggestions will be helpful at this time as no service depts. If not, try this first and see if it makes a difference. Brad b2 months ago Yes, all connections look clean and tight.
I like that aspect of the converter I have. I then moved the circuit wire to another fuse and still nothing. Usually those with a bit of electrical experience--or even those without-- will tinker a bit with the converter connections before contacting me for help. When gfi breaker in inverter is on I get 119 volts going to ground.
If the converter was working properly you should get at least 13+ VOLTS at the battery. Old converter is 1 year old. I also verified that the battery is installed correctly. Sorry I can't furnish you with a wiring diagram as it would be invaluable.
