Now my audio works again and I can adjust the volume via the preferences pane and via the volume keys on my keyboard. Headphone socket had disappeared. i plugged in a pair of headphones (standard) this solved the problem for me . so the solution is finaly to install realtek driver version 2.4,i run windows under mac os 10.5 AND NOT 10.6 AND IT WORKS GREAT.
